न स तं परतिजग्राह नैषादिर इति चिन्तयन शिष्यं धनुषि धर्मज्ञस तेषाम एवान्ववेक्षया ॥ १-१२३-११ ॥

'Not accepting him, Drona contemplated, "He is a Nishada," and thus, the righteous teacher observed only his high-born disciples in the art of archery.' ॥ 1-123-11 ॥
