ततॊ निषादराजस्य हिरण्यधनुषः सुतः एकलब्यॊ महाराज दरॊणम अभ्याजगाम ह ।। १-१२३-१० ।।

'There was a prince named Ekalavya, son of King Hiranyadhanus, ruler of the Nishadas, considered among the lowest of the mixed orders. Despite his potential, Drona, mindful of moral principles, refused to accept Ekalavya as his archery pupil, fearing that a Nishada might surpass his high-born students in skill.' ।। 1-123-10 ।।

tatò niSAdarAjasya hiraNyadhanuSaH sutaH ekalabyò mahArAja daròNama abhyAjagAma ha || 1-123-10 ||
