तथेति समनुज्ञाय सा परविश्याब्रवीत सनुषाम अम्बिके तव पुत्रस्य दुर्नयात किल भारताः सानुबन्धा विनङ्क्ष्यन्ति पौराश चैवेति नः शरुतम ॥ १-११९-९ ॥
'Conceding to Vyasa's counsel, Satyavati proceeded to the inner chambers and spoke to her daughter-in-law, Ambika, expressing, "O Ambika, it's been foretold that due to the actions of your grandsons, the Bharata dynasty and its people will face destruction."' ॥ 1-119-9 ॥
