ततस तांस तेषु कुण्डेषु गर्भान अवदधे तदा सवनुगुप्तेषु देशेषु रक्षां च वयदधात ततः ।। १-१०७-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'Subsequently, those embryos were placed in the pots, and then they were kept in well-secured locations, with arrangements made for their protection.' ।। 1-107-21 ।।

english translation

tatasa tAMsa teSu kuNDeSu garbhAna avadadhe tadA savanugupteSu dezeSu rakSAM ca vayadadhAta tataH || 1-107-21 ||

zazAsa caiva bhagavAna kAlenaitAvatA punaH vighaTTanIyAnya etAni kuNDAnIti sama saubalIma || 1-107-22 ||

'Upon Duryodhana's birth, he cried out, resembling the braying of an ass. This sound triggered responses from asses, vultures, jackals, and crows. Violent winds arose, and fires erupted in various directions. Overwhelmed by fear, King Dhritarashtra called upon Bhishma, Vidura, their well-wishers, all the Kurus, and numerous Brahmins. Addressing them, he spoke:' ।। 1-107-25 ।।

jAtamAtre sute tasmina dhRtarASTrò 'baravIda idama samAnIya bahUna viprAna bhISmaM vidurama eva ca || 1-107-25 ||
