स तया कुन्तिभॊजस्य दुहित्रा कुरुनन्दनः युयुजे ऽमितसौभाग्यः पौलॊम्या मघवान इव ।। १-१०५-३ ।।

sanskrit

'Radiant as a lion, broad-chested, with eyes like a bull, possessing great strength, and surpassing all other monarchs in splendor, he resembled another Indra in that royal gathering. Seeing Pandu, the best of men, in that assembly, the gentle daughter of Kuntibhoja, with faultless features, became greatly agitated. Thus, like Indra with the princess Paulomi, the illustrious Pandu, son of Kuru's lineage, was united with Kunti, daughter of Kuntibhoja, blessed with boundless fortune.' ।। 1-105-3 ।।

english translation

sa tayA kuntibhòjasya duhitrA kurunandanaH yuyuje 'mitasaubhAgyaH paulòmyA maghavAna iva || 1-105-3 ||
