तस्मिन्न उपरते शब्दे दिशः सर्वा विनादयन अन्तर्हितानां भूतानां निस्वनस तुमुलॊ ऽभवत ।। १-१-७६।।

sanskrit

'Through divine Providence, we behold the family of Pandu! Let their welcome be proclaimed!' As these acclamations ceased,the plaudits of invisible spirits, causing every point of the heavens to resound, were tremendous' ।। 1-1-76 ।।

english translation

tasminna uparate zabde dizaH sarvA vinAdayana antarhitAnAM bhUtAnAM nisvanasa tumulò 'bhavata || 1-1-76||

'There were showers of sweet, scented flowers, and the sound of shells and kettle drums. Such were the wonders that happened on the arrival of the young princes.'।। 1-1-77 ।।

'Having studied the whole of the Vedas and sundry other shastras, the Pandavas resided there, respected by all and without apprehension from anyone.'।। 1-1-79 ।।
