पुष्पवृष्टिं शुभा गन्धाः शङ्खदुन्दुभिनिस्वनाः आसन परवेशे पार्थानां तद अद्भुतम इवाभवत ॥ १-१-७७॥

sanskrit

'There were showers of sweet, scented flowers, and the sound of shells and kettle drums. Such were the wonders that happened on the arrival of the young princes.'॥ 1-1-77 ॥

english translation

puSpavRSTiM zubhA gandhAH zaGkhadundubhinisvanAH Asana paraveze pArthAnAM tada adbhutama ivAbhavata ॥ 1-1-77॥
