'In adherence to the principles of righteousness, Santanu's son, having accomplished the remarkable feat in line with royal customs, initiated the arrangements for his brother's marriage. Bhishma, after finalizing the wedding details in coordination with Satyavati.' ।। 1-96-46 ।।

english translation

satAM dharmeNa dharmajJaH kRtvA karmAtimAnuSama bharAtura vicitravIryasya vivAhAyòpacakrame satyavatyA saha mithaH kRtvA nizcayama AtmavAna || 1-96-46 ||
