एवंगुणसमायुक्तां वसवे वसु नन्दिनी दर्शयाम आस राजेन्द्र पुरा पौरवनन्दन ॥ १-९३-१६ ॥
'Thus, endowed with such virtues, Vasu, the ruler of the gods, once showed the delightful Vasu Nandini to the king, the delighter of the people.' ॥ 1-93-16 ॥
english translation
दयौस तदा तां तु दृष्ट्वैव गां गजेन्द्रेन्द्र विक्रम उवाच राजंस तां देवीं तस्या रूपगुणान वदन ॥ १-९३-१७ ॥
'Then, upon seeing that cow, the lord of elephants in valor, spoke to the king about the divine cow, praising her form and virtues.' ॥ 1-93-17 ॥
english translation
एषा गौर उत्तमा देवि वारुणेर असितेक्षणे ऋषेस तस्य वरारॊहे यस्येदं वनम उत्तमम ॥ १-९३-१८ ॥
'This, O divine one, is the excellent cow of Varuna, the one with dark eyes. She is the desired cow of the sage whose hermitage is in this excellent forest.' ॥ 1-93-18 ॥

अस्याः कषीरं पिबेन मर्त्यः सवादु यॊ वै सुमध्यमे दशवर्षसहस्राणि स जीवेत सथिरयौवनः ॥ १-९३-१९ ॥
'O slender-waisted, any mortal who partakes of this cow's sweet milk will retain unaging youth for ten thousand years.' ॥ 1-93-19 ॥

एतच छरुत्वा तु सा देवी नृपॊत्तम सुमध्यमा तम उवाचानवद्याङ्गी भर्तारं दीप्ततेजसम ॥ १-९३-२० ॥
'Hearing this, the goddess of unsurpassed beauty, O best of kings, spoke to her radiant husband.' ॥ 1-93-20 ॥
