मा वधीः कासि कस्यासि किं हिंससि सुतान इति पुत्रघ्नि सुमहत पापं मा परापस तिष्ठ गर्हिते ॥ १-९२-४७ ॥

sanskrit

'Do not harm the child! Who are you, and from whom do you come? Why do you take the lives of your own offspring? O destroyer of your sons, the burden of your sins is immense!' ॥ 1-92-47 ॥

english translation

mA vadhIH kAsi kasyAsi kiM hiMsasi sutAna iti putraghni sumahata pApaM mA parApasa tiSTha garhite ॥ 1-92-47 ॥
