तत इष्टे ऽहनि तयॊः पितरौ चक्रतुर मुदा विवाहं तौ च रेमाते परस्परहितैषिणौ ।। १-९-१७ ।।

sanskrit

'And on an auspicious day, their fathers gladly married them with due rites. And the couple passed their days, devoted to each other.'।। 1-9-17 ।।

english translation

tata iSTe 'hani tayòH pitarau cakratura mudA vivAhaM tau ca remAte parasparahitaiSiNau || 1-9-17 ||
