[षिबि] पृच्छामि तवां शिबिर औशीनरॊ ऽहं; ममापि लॊका यदि सन्तीह तात यद्य अन्तरिक्षे यदि वा दिवि शरिताः; कषेत्रज्ञं तवां तस्य धर्मस्य मन्ये ।। १-८८-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Sivi, the son of Usinara, addressed the king, saying, "O father, I am known as Sivi. Are there any realms in the firmament or in heaven where I may enjoy the fruits of my religious merit? You possess knowledge of all such regions."' ।। 1-88-6 ।।

english translation

[Sibi] pRcchAmi tavAM zibira auzInarò 'haM; mamApi lòkA yadi santIha tAta yadya antarikSe yadi vA divi zaritAH; kaSetrajJaM tavAM tasya dharmasya manye || 1-88-6 ||
