[य] अददाद देव यानाय यावद वित्तम अविन्दत उशीनरस्य पुत्रॊ ऽयं तस्माच छरेष्ठॊ हि नः शिबिः ॥ १-८८-१८ ॥
'Yayati replied, "Usinara's son, Sivi, had relinquished all his possessions to attain the realm of Brahman. Hence, he stands as the foremost among us. Moreover, Siva's generosity, asceticism, truthfulness, righteousness, humility, forgiveness, friendliness, and eagerness to perform virtuous deeds have been unparalleled, beyond measure."' ॥ 1-88-18 ॥
