[आ] केनासि दूतः परहितॊ ऽदय राजन; युवा सरग्वी दर्शनीयः सुवर्चाः कुत आगतः कतरस्यां दिशि तवम; उताहॊ सवित पार्थिवं सथानम अस्ति ॥ १-८७-५ ॥
'Ashtaka spoke, 'O king, you appear youthful, adorned with celestial ornaments, and radiate great splendor. From where do you come and where do you go? Whose messenger are you? Are you descending into the earth?'' ॥ 1-87-5 ॥
