धौतदन्तं कृत्तनखं सदा सनातम अलंकृतम असितं सितकर्मस्थं कस तं नार्चितुम अर्हति ॥ १-८६-१५ ॥

sanskrit

'Why indeed should one not honor the individual who consumes pure food, refrains from harming others, maintains a perpetually pure heart, embodies the radiance of ascetic virtues, and abstains from causing harm even when it may be permitted by religious doctrine?' ॥ 1-86-15 ॥

dhautadantaM kRttanakhaM sadA sanAtama alaMkRtama asitaM sitakarmasthaM kasa taM nArcituma arhati ॥ 1-86-15 ॥
