[य] न गराम्यम उपयुञ्जीत य आरण्यॊ मुनिर भवेत तथास्य वसतॊ ऽरण्ये गरामॊ भवति पृष्ठतः ॥ १-८६-११ ॥

'Yayati explains, "One who aspires to be a forest-dwelling Muni should not indulge in village affairs. Yet, while he resides in the forest, the village remains metaphorically behind him."' ॥ 1-86-11 ॥
