तस्माद एतद वर्जनीयं नरेण; दुष्टं लॊके गर्हणीयं च कर्म आख्यातं ते पार्थिव सर्वम एतद; भूयश चेदानीं वद किं ते वदामि ॥ १-८५-५ ॥
'Therefore, Yayati advises, "A man should avoid such condemnable and reprehensible actions in the world. O prince, I have told you all this; if you wish to know more, ask what else you would like me to explain."' ॥ 1-85-5 ॥
