सद्भिः पुरस्ताद अभिपूजितः सयात; सद्भिस तथा पृष्ठतॊ रक्षितः सयात सदासताम अतिवादांस तितिक्षेत; सतां वृत्तं चाददीतार्य वृत्तः ॥ १-८२-१० ॥

sanskrit

'You should always regard the virtuous as your role models, constantly reflect upon your actions in comparison to theirs, and ignore the harsh words of the unrighteous.' ॥ 1-82-10 ॥

english translation

sadbhiH purastAda abhipUjitaH sayAta; sadbhisa tathA pRSThatò rakSitaH sayAta sadAsatAma ativAdAMsa titikSeta; satAM vRttaM cAdadItArya vRttaH ॥ 1-82-10 ॥
