[देव] वेदाहं तात बालापि धर्माणां यद इहान्तरम अक्रॊधे चातिवादे च वेद चापि बलाबलम ॥ १-७४-८ ॥

sanskrit

'Devayani responded, "I know, father, even as a child, the distinctions among virtues here. I understand the difference between non-anger and overbearing speech, and also recognize the strengths and weaknesses ॥ inherent in them॥."' ॥ 1-74-8 ॥

english translation

[deva] vedAhaM tAta bAlApi dharmANAM yada ihAntarama akròdhe cAtivAde ca veda cApi balAbalama ॥ 1-74-8 ॥
