यद्य अहं सतुवतस तात दुहिता परतिगृह्णतः परसादयिष्ये शर्मिष्ठाम इत्य उक्ता हि सखी मया ।। १-७३-३४ ।।

sanskrit

'Father, if indeed I am the daughter of one who sings praises for hire, of one who accepts gifts, then I must seek her favor by offering my respects. I have already conveyed this to her!' ।। 1-73-34 ।।

english translation

yadya ahaM satuvatasa tAta duhitA paratigRhNataH parasAdayiSye zarmiSThAma itya uktA hi sakhI mayA || 1-73-34 ||
