[देव] दवौ मां शॊकाव अग्निकल्पौ दहेतां; कचस्य नाशस तव चैवॊपघातः कचस्य नाशे मम नास्ति शर्म; तवॊपघाते जीवितुं नास्मि शक्ता ॥ १-७१-४५ ॥
'[The deity said,] "Both of you are like blazing fires of sorrow, consuming me; Kacha's destruction and your affliction. In Kacha's demise, I find no solace; in your suffering, I find no strength to live."' ॥ 1-71-45 ॥
