शक्तॊ ऽहम अपि शप्तुं तवां मान्यास तु बराह्मणा मम जानतॊ ऽपि च ते वयक्तं कथयिष्ये निबॊध तत ॥ १-७-५ ॥
'I can pronounce a curse upon you, yet I hold Brahmanas in high regard. Despite your awareness of this fact, O Brahmana, I shall proceed to articulate it. Therefore, I request your attention.'॥ 1-7-5 ॥
