लॊकानाम इह सर्वेषां तवं कर्ता चान्त एव च तवं धारयसि लॊकांस तरीन करियाणां च परवर्तकः स तथा कुरु लॊकेश नॊच्छिद्येरन करिया यथा ॥ १-७-१८ ॥
'Brahma spoke to Agni, the creator and eternal force like himself, with gentle words, "You are both the creator and destroyer of worlds. You uphold the three realms and foster all rituals and ceremonies. Therefore, conduct yourself in a manner that ensures the uninterrupted continuity of ceremonies."'॥ 1-7-18 ॥
