चिन्तयित्वा ततॊ वह्निश चक्रे संहारम आत्मनः दविजानाम अग्निहॊत्रेषु यज्ञसत्र करियासु च ॥ १-७-१२॥
'After contemplating for a while, Agni withdrew himself from all locations, including the daily homa sites of the Brahmanas, extensive sacrificial rituals, places of sacred rites, and various other ceremonies.'॥ 1-7-12 ॥
