भस्त्रा माता पितुः पुत्रॊ येन जातः स एव सः भरस्व पुत्रं दुःषन्त मावमंस्थाः शकुन्तलाम ॥ १-६९-२९ ॥

sanskrit

'The voice declared, 'The mother is merely the vessel of flesh; the son, born of the father, is indeed the father himself. Hence, O Dushyanta, embrace your son and do not dishonor Shakuntala." ॥ 1-69-29 ॥

english translation

bhastrA mAtA pituH putrò yena jAtaH sa eva saH bharasva putraM duHSanta mAvamaMsthAH zakuntalAma ॥ 1-69-29 ॥
