शौचार्थं यॊ नदीं चक्रे दुर्गमां बहुभिर जलैः यां तां पुण्यतमां लॊके कौशिकीति विदुर जनाः ।। १-६५-३० ।।

sanskrit

'He it was who, for purposes of his ablutions, created a deep river that can with difficulty be forded, and which sacred stream is known by the name of the Kausiki.' ।। 1-65-30 ।।

english translation

zaucArthaM yò nadIM cakre durgamAM bahubhira jalaiH yAM tAM puNyatamAM lòke kauzikIti vidura janAH || 1-65-30 ||
