अलंकृतं दवीपवत्या मालिन्या रम्यतीरया नरनारायण सथानं गङ्गयेवॊपशॊभितम मत्तबर्हिण संघुष्टं परविवेश महद वनम ॥ १-६४-२४ ॥

'And beholding that river, and also the asylum washed by that river which was studded with many islands and which possessed banks of so much beauty,--an asylum like unto that of Nara and Narayana laved by the water of the Ganga--the king resolved to enter into that sacred abode.' ॥ 1-64-24 ॥

english translation

alaMkRtaM davIpavatyA mAlinyA ramyatIrayA naranArAyaNa sathAnaM gaGgayevòpazòbhitama mattabarhiNa saMghuSTaM paraviveza mahada vanama ॥ 1-64-24 ॥
