नानावृक्षसमाकीर्णं संप्रज्वलित पावकम यतिभिर वालखिल्यैश च वृतं मुनिगणान्वितम ॥ १-६४-१६ ॥
'Abounding with diverse trees and illuminated by the blazing fire, it spread extensively, accompanied by ascetics and disciples wearing bark garments.' ॥ 1-64-16 ॥
english translation
nAnAvRkSasamAkIrNaM saMprajvalita pAvakama yatibhira vAlakhilyaiza ca vRtaM munigaNAnvitama ॥ 1-64-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअग्न्यागारैश च बहुभिः पुष्पसंस्तर संस्तृतम महाकच्छैर बृहद्भिश च विभ्राजितम अतीव च ॥ १-६४-१७ ॥
'Decked with numerous fire altars and covered with flowers, it gleamed brilliantly, adorned with large sacrificial platforms and vast sacrificial spaces.' ॥ 1-64-17 ॥

agnyAgAraiza ca bahubhiH puSpasaMstara saMstRtama mahAkacchaira bRhadbhiza ca vibhrAjitama atIva ca ॥ 1-64-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमालिनीम अभितॊ राजन नदीं पुण्यां सुखॊदकाम नैकपक्षिगणाकीर्णां तपॊवनमनॊरमाम तत्र वयालमृगान सौम्यान पश्यन परीतिम अवाप सः ॥ १-६४-१८ ॥
'And by it flowed, O king, the sacred and transparent Malini with every species of water-fowl playing on its bosom. And that stream infused gladness into the hearts of the ascetics who resorted to it for purposes of ablutions. And the king beheld on its banks many innocent animals of the deer species and was exceedingly delighted with all that he saw.' ॥ 1-64-18 ॥

mAlinIma abhitò rAjana nadIM puNyAM sukhòdakAma naikapakSigaNAkIrNAM tapòvanamanòramAma tatra vayAlamRgAna saumyAna pazyana parItima avApa saH ॥ 1-64-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतं चाप्य अतिरथः शरीमान आश्रमं परत्यपद्यत देवलॊकप्रतीकाशं सर्वतः सुमनॊहरम ॥ १-६४-१९ ॥
'And the monarch, the course of whose chariot no foe could obstruct, then entered that asylum which was like unto the region of the celestials, being exceedingly beautiful all over.' ॥ 1-64-19 ॥

taM cApya atirathaH zarImAna AzramaM paratyapadyata devalòkapratIkAzaM sarvataH sumanòharama ॥ 1-64-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनदीम आश्रमसंश्लिष्टां पुण्यतॊयां ददर्श सः सर्वप्राणभृतां तत्र जननीम इव विष्ठिताम ॥ १-६४-२० ॥
'And the king saw that it stood on the margin of the sacred stream which was like the mother of all the living creatures residing in its vicinage.' ॥ 1-64-20 ॥
