तत्र परदेशांश च बहून कुसुमॊत्कर मण्डितान लतागृहपरिक्षिप्तान मनसः परीतिवर्धनान संपश्यन स महातेजा बभूव मुदितस तदा ॥ १-६४-११ ॥
'There, seeing many foreign lands adorned with clusters of flowers and surrounded by vine-covered arbors, which increased the joy of the heart, the great luminary (person of great brilliance) was filled with happiness at that moment.' ॥ 1-64-11 ॥
english translation
परस्पराशिष्ट शाखैः पादपैः कुसुमाचितैः अशॊभत वनं तत तैर महेन्द्रध्वजसंनिभैः ॥ १-६४-१२ ॥
'Situated within a river delta, the ensemble of lofty trees standing together bestowed upon the surroundings the grandeur reminiscent of a resplendent pole raised in honor of Lord Indra.' ॥ 1-64-12 ॥
english translation
सुखशीतः सुगन्धी च पुष्परेणु वहॊ ऽनिलः परिक्रामन वने वृक्षान उपैतीव रिरंसया ॥ १-६४-१३ ॥
'And in that forest which was the resort of ever cheerful birds, the monarch saw a delightful and charming retreat of ascetics.' ॥ 1-64-13 ॥

एवंगुणसमायुक्तं ददर्श स वनं नृपः नदी कच्छॊद्भवं कान्तम उच्छ्रितध्वजसंनिभम ॥ १-६४-१४ ॥
'Thus endowed with such qualities, the king saw that forest, born from the river's edge, beautiful and resembling a place with a raised banner.' ॥ 1-64-14 ॥

परेक्षमाणॊ वनं तत तु सुप्रहृष्ट विहंगमम आश्रमप्रवरं रम्यं ददर्श च मनॊरमम ॥ १-६४-१५ ॥
'While exploring that forest, filled with joyously chirping birds, he saw a beautiful and delightful hermitage, the finest of its kind, captivating to the mind.' ॥ 1-64-15 ॥
