[स] पतिष्यमाणे नागेन्द्रे तक्षके जातवेदसि इदम अन्तरम इत्य एवं तदास्तीकॊ ऽभयचॊदयत ।। १-५१-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'The Ritwiks said, 'O monarch, behold, Takshaka is soon coming under thy control! His terrible cries and roar are being heard. Assuredly, the snake hath been forsaken by the wielder of thunder. His body being disabled by your mantras, he is falling from heaven.'' ।। 1-51-16 ।।

english translation

[sa] patiSyamANe nAgendre takSake jAtavedasi idama antarama itya evaM tadAstIkò 'bhayacòdayata || 1-51-16 ||
