[ज] एतत तु शरॊतुम इच्छामि अटव्यां निर्जने वने संवादं पन्नगेन्द्रस्य काश्यपस्य च यत तदा ॥ १-४६-२६ ॥
'Sauti continued, 'King Janamejaya, the vanquisher of foes, addressed all his ministers and inquired, 'When did you come to know about the extraordinary incident that transpired involving the banian tree reduced to ashes by Takshaka, and subsequently revived by Kasyapa?'' ॥ 1-46-26 ॥
