स एवम उक्तॊ नागेन काश्यपॊ दविपदां वरः लब्ध्वा वित्तं निववृते तक्षकाद यावद ईप्सितम ।। १-४६-२१ ।।

'Thus addressed by the snake, Kasyapa, the best of the twice-born, having obtained the desired wealth, withdrew from Takshaka as much as he wished.' ।। 1-46-21 ।।

sa evama uktò nAgena kAzyapò davipadAM varaH labdhvA vittaM nivavRte takSakAda yAvada Ipsitama || 1-46-21 ||

'After Kasyapa had departed, Takshaka, in the guise of a Brahmana, neared the virtuous king, thy father, and with the fiery venom of his poison, brought about his destruction.' ।। 1-46-22 ।।
