[क] यत्र राजा कुरुश्रेष्ठः परिक्षिन नाम वै दविजः तक्षकेण भुजंगेन धक्ष्यते किल तत्र वै ॥ १-४६-१६ ॥

'Kasyapa replied, "O Brahmana, I am heading towards the place where the illustrious king Parikshit, the best of the Kurus, is situated. Today, he will be consumed by the venom of the snake Takshaka."' ॥ 1-46-16 ॥

english translation

[ka] yatra rAjA kuruzreSThaH parikSina nAma vai davijaH takSakeNa bhujaMgena dhakSyate kila tatra vai ॥ 1-46-16 ॥
