निवेशार्थ्य अखिलां भूमिं कन्या भैक्षं चरामि भॊः दरिद्रॊ दुःखशीलश च पितृभिः संनियॊजितः ।। १-४२-१३ ।।

sanskrit

'O beings, guided by the instructions of my ancestors, I traverse the vast world in poverty and sorrow, seeking a maiden to wed, as if searching for alms.' ।। 1-42-13 ।।

english translation

nivezArthya akhilAM bhUmiM kanyA bhaikSaM carAmi bhòH daridrò duHkhazIlaza ca pitRbhiH saMniyòjitaH || 1-42-13 ||
