लम्बताम इह नस तात न जञानं परतिभाति वै येन तवां नाभिजानीमॊ लॊके विख्यातपौरुषम ॥ १-४१-१४ ॥

'The revered grandfather himself has proclaimed the great merit of having a son. As we stand on the brink of being cast into this pit, our thoughts are clouded. Hence, O child, although your manhood is renowned on earth, in our current state, we fail to recognize you.' ॥ 1-41-14 ॥

english translation

lambatAma iha nasa tAta na jaJAnaM paratibhAti vai yena tavAM nAbhijAnImò lòke vikhyAtapauruSama ॥ 1-41-14 ॥
