अनुक्रॊशात्मतां तस्य शमीकस्यावधार्य तु पर्यतप्यत भूयॊ ऽपि कृत्वा तत किल्बिषं मुनेः ॥ १-३८-२४ ॥

'Understanding the inner turmoil of Samika due to his outburst, the king, feeling remorse, continued to repent, even more, purifying himself from the sage's transgression.' ॥ 1-38-24 ॥

anukròzAtmatAM tasya zamIkasyAvadhArya tu paryatapyata bhUyò 'pi kRtvA tata kilbiSaM muneH ॥ 1-38-24 ॥
