तेन शप्तॊ ऽसि राजेन्द्र पितुर अज्ञातम अद्य वै तक्षकः सप्तरात्रेण मृत्युस ते वै भविष्यति ॥ १-३८-१९ ॥
'And today, O king of kings, you have been unknowingly cursed by the latter, your father, predicting that Takshaka, the serpent, will be the cause of your death within the next seven nights.' ॥ 1-38-19 ॥
