रक्ष्यमाणा वयं तात राजभिः शास्त्रदृष्टिभिः चरामॊ विपुलं धर्मं तेषां चांशॊ ऽसति धर्मतः ।। १-३७-२४ ।।

sanskrit

'We, O father, are protected by the kings following the principles of scriptures. We should adhere to an extensive code of conduct, and their adherence to righteous principles supports the existence of righteousness.' ।। 1-37-24 ।।

english translation

rakSyamANA vayaM tAta rAjabhiH zAstradRSTibhiH carAmò vipulaM dharmaM teSAM cAMzò 'sati dharmataH || 1-37-24 ||
