यथा हि भगवान रुद्रॊ विद्ध्वा यज्ञमृगं दिवि अन्वगच्छद धनुष्पाणिः पर्यन्वेषंस ततस ततः ॥ १-३६-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'Searching for the animal here and there, like the illustrious Rudra himself of old pursuing in the heavens, bow in hand, the deer which was Sacrifice.' ॥ 1-36-12 ॥

english translation

yathA hi bhagavAna rudrò viddhvA yajJamRgaM divi anvagacchada dhanuSpANiH paryanveSaMsa tatasa tataH ॥ 1-36-12 ॥
