तम अब्रवीत सत्यधृतिं तप्यमानं पितामहः किम इदं कुरुषे शेषप्रजानां सवस्ति वै कुरु ।। १-३२-६ ।।

sanskrit

'The venerable Grandsire, addressing Sesha, the practitioner of rigorous penance known for his immense fortitude, inquired, "What endeavor is this thorn of responsibility that you undertake,O Sesha? Let the well-being of the inhabitants of the worlds also occupy your contemplation."' ।। 1-32-6 ।।

english translation

tama abravIta satyadhRtiM tapyamAnaM pitAmahaH kima idaM kuruSe zeSaprajAnAM savasti vai kuru || 1-32-6 ||
