[स] इत्य उक्तः परत्युवाचेदं कद्रू पुत्रान अनुस्मरन समृत्वा चैवॊपधि कृतं मातुर दास्य निमित्ततः ॥ १-३०-११ ॥
'Sauti continued, 'Recalling the sons of Kadru and also mindful of the predicament of his mother, who was ensnared due to a deceitful act stemming from the well-known curse of Aruna, Garuda spoke, 'Even though I possess dominion over all living beings, I am willing to fulfill your request.' ॥ 1-30-11 ॥

ईशॊ ऽहम अपि सर्वस्य करिष्यामि तु ते ऽरथिताम भवेयुर भुजगाः शक्र मम भक्ष्या महाबलाः ॥ १-३०-१२ ॥
'"I am indeed capable of granting your request. Let the serpents become my prey, O mighty Indra," said Garuda.' ॥ 1-30-12 ॥
english translation
तथेत्य उक्त्वान्वगच्छत तं ततॊ दानव सूदनः हरिष्यामि विनिक्षिप्तं सॊमम इत्य अनुभाष्य तम ॥ १-३०-१३ ॥
'The slayer of the Danavas having said unto him, 'Be it so,' then went to Hari, the god of gods, of great soul, and the lord of Yogins. And the latter sanctioned everything that had been said by Garuda.' ॥ 1-30-13 ॥

आजगाम ततस तूर्णं सुपर्णॊ मातुर अन्तिकम अथ सर्पान उवाचेदं सर्वान परमहृष्टवत ॥ १-३०-१४ ॥
'And the illustrious lord of heaven again said unto Garuda, 'I shall bring away the Soma when thou placest it down.' And having said so, he bade farewell to Garuda. And the bird of fair feathers then went to the presence of his mother with great speed.' ॥ 1-30-14 ॥

इदम आनीतम अमृतं निक्षेप्स्यामि कुशेषु वः सनाता मङ्गलसंयुक्तास ततः पराश्नीत पन्नगाः ॥ १-३०-१५ ॥
'And Garuda in joy then spake unto all the snakes, 'Here have I brought the Amrita. Let me place it on some Kusa grass.' ॥ 1-30-15 ॥
