स उपाध्याय वचनाद अरक्षद गाः स चाहनि गा रक्षित्वा दिवसक्षये ऽभयागम्यॊपाध्यायस्याग्रतः सथित्वा नमश चक्रे ।। १-३-३४ ।।

sanskrit

'He, following the teacher's instructions, guarded the cows. After protecting the cows and gaining their trust day by day, Upamanyu approached the teacher with reverence, standing in front of him, and paid his respects.' ।। 1-3-34 ।।

english translation

sa upAdhyAya vacanAda arakSada gAH sa cAhani gA rakSitvA divasakSaye 'bhayAgamyòpAdhyAyasyAgrataH sathitvA namaza cakre || 1-3-34 ||
