अथ ससंभ्रमस तक्षकॊ ऽगनितेजॊ भयविषण्णस ते कुण्डले गृहीत्वा सहसा सवभवनान निष्क्रम्यॊत्तङ्कम उवाच एते कुण्डले परतिगृह्णातु भवान इति ॥ १-३-१५९ ॥
'And Takshaka, surprised beyond measure and terrified by the heat of the fire, hastily came out of his abode taking the ear-rings with him, and said unto Utanka, 'Pray, Sir, take back the ear-rings.' ॥ 1-3-159 ॥
