एवं सतुवन्न अपि नागान यदा ते कुण्डले नालभद अथापश्यत सत्रियौ तन्त्रे अधिरॊप्य पटं वयन्त्यौ ॥ १-३-१४७ ॥

sanskrit

'When the serpents beheld the earrings, they were thus spoken to splendid ones, let the two wives string the jeweled garland on the thread in the same manner.' ॥ 1-3-147 ॥

english translation

evaM satuvanna api nAgAna yadA te kuNDale nAlabhada athApazyata satriyau tantre adhiròpya paTaM vayantyau ॥ 1-3-147 ॥
