अथापश्यद ऋषीन हरस्वान अङ्गुष्ठॊदर पर्वणः पलाशवृन्तिकाम एकां सहितान वहतः पथि ॥ १-१७-८ ॥

sanskrit

'And he saw on the way some Rishis, of bodies of the measure of the thumb, all together carrying one single stalk of a Palasa (Butea frondosa) leaf.' ॥ 1-27-8 ॥

english translation

athApazyada RSIna harasvAna aGguSThòdara parvaNaH palAzavRntikAma ekAM sahitAna vahataH pathi ॥ 1-17-8 ॥
