सू] स तच छरुत्वा पितुर वाक्यं भीमवेगॊ ऽनतरिक्षगः नखेन जगम एकेन कूर्मम एकेन चाक्षिपत ॥ १-१५-२६ ॥

'And remembering the words of his father, that ranger of the skies possessed of great swiftness of motion, seized the elephant and the tortoise, one in each claw.' ॥ 1-25-26 ॥

sU] sa taca charutvA pitura vAkyaM bhImavegò 'natarikSagaH nakhena jagama ekena kUrmama ekena cAkSipata ॥ 1-15-26 ॥

समुत्पपात चाकाशं तत उच्चैर विहंगमः सॊ ऽलम्ब तीर्थम आसाद्य देव वृक्षान उपागमत ॥ १-१५-२७ ॥

'And that bird then soared high into the air. And he came upon a sacred place called Alamva and saw many divine trees.' ॥ 1-25-27 ॥

samutpapAta cAkAzaM tata uccaira vihaMgamaH sò 'lamba tIrthama AsAdya deva vRkSAna upAgamata ॥ 1-15-27 ॥

ते भीताः समकम्पन्त तस्य पक्षानिलाहताः न नॊ भञ्ज्याद इति तदा दिव्याः कनकशाखिनः ॥ १-१५-२८ ॥

'And struck by the wind raised by his wings, those trees began to shake with fear. And those divine trees having golden boughs feared that they would break.' ॥ 1-25-28 ॥

te bhItAH samakampanta tasya pakSAnilAhatAH na nò bhaJjyAda iti tadA divyAH kanakazAkhinaH ॥ 1-15-28 ॥

परचलाङ्गान स तान दृष्ट्वा मनॊरथफलाङ्कुरान अन्यान अतुलरूपाङ्गान उपचक्राम खेचरः ॥ १-१५-२९ ॥

काञ्चनै राजतैश चैव फलैर वैडूर्य शाखिनः सागराम्बुपरिक्षिप्तान भराजमानान महाद्रुमान ॥ १-१५-३० ॥

'And those gigantic trees were adorned with fruits of gold and silver and branches of precious gems. And they were washed with the water of the sea.' ॥ 1-25-30 ॥
