ततः खगॊ वदनम अमित्रतापनः; समाहरत परिचपलॊ महाबलः निषूदयन बहुविध मत्स्यभक्षिणॊ; बुभुक्षितॊ गगनचरेश्वरस तदा ॥ १-१४-१४ ॥
'Blinded by the storm's raised dust, the Nishadas sought refuge in the expansive cleft of Garuda's open mouth. Swift and hungry, the mighty lord of the skies, the vanquisher of enemies endowed with immense strength, closed his mouth, bringing an end to numerous Nishadas who followed the occupation of fishermen.' ॥ 1-24-14 ॥
