शरुतं कर्म महत कृत्वा निवृत्तेन किरीटिना जातः पुत्रस तवेत्य एवं शरुतकर्मा ततॊ ऽभवत ॥ १-२१३-७६ ॥
'Arjuna's son was born upon his return from exile, during which he had accomplished many celebrated feats. Therefore, that child came to be known as Srutakarman.' ॥ 1-213-76 ॥

शतानीकस्य राजर्षेः कौरव्यः कुरुनन्दनः चक्रे पुत्रं सनामानं नकुलः कीर्तिवर्धनम ॥ १-२१३-७७ ॥
'Nakula, the beloved prince of the Kuru dynasty, was blessed with a son whom he named Shatanika, after the revered royal sage of the Kaurava lineage. This choice of name not only honored their ancestral heritage but also enhanced Nakula's reputation, linking his offspring to a legacy of wisdom and nobility.' ॥ 1-213-77 ॥

ततस तव अजीजनत कृष्णा नक्षत्रे वह्नि दैवते सहदेवात सुतं तस्माच छरुत सेनेति तं विदुः ॥ १-२१३-७८ ॥
'Then Krishna (Draupadi) gave birth to a son from Sahadeva, under the constellation ruled by the fire god. They called him Shrutasena.' ॥ 1-213-78 ॥

एकवर्षान्तरास तव एव दरौपदेया यशस्विनः अन्वजायन्त राजेन्द्र परस्परहिते रताः ॥ १-२१३-७९ ॥
'Draupadi's sons were born at yearly intervals, and they all grew renowned and deeply bonded to each other.' ॥ 1-213-79 ॥

जातकर्माण्य आनुपूर्व्याच चूडॊपनयनानि च चकार विधिवद धौम्यस तेषां भरतसत्तम ॥ १-२१३-८० ॥
'And, O monarch, Dhaumya performed all their rites of infancy and childhood, such as Chudakarana (first haircut) and Upanayana (sacred thread ceremony), per tradition.' ॥ 1-213-80 ॥
