शतानीकस्य राजर्षेः कौरव्यः कुरुनन्दनः चक्रे पुत्रं सनामानं नकुलः कीर्तिवर्धनम ।। १-२१३-७७ ।।

sanskrit

'Nakula, the beloved prince of the Kuru dynasty, was blessed with a son whom he named Shatanika, after the revered royal sage of the Kaurava lineage. This choice of name not only honored their ancestral heritage but also enhanced Nakula's reputation, linking his offspring to a legacy of wisdom and nobility.' ।। 1-213-77 ।।
