पाञ्चाल्य अपि च पञ्चभ्यः पतिभ्यः शुभलक्षणा लेभे पञ्च सुतान वीराञ शुभान पञ्चाचलान इव ॥ १-२१३-७१ ॥
'From her five husbands, the virtuous Panchali also bore five sons, all of whom were foremost heroes, steadfast in battle like mountains.' ॥ 1-213-71 ॥
english translation
pAJcAlya api ca paJcabhyaH patibhyaH zubhalakSaNA lebhe paJca sutAna vIrAJa zubhAna paJcAcalAna iva ॥ 1-213-71 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयुधिष्ठिरात परतिविन्ध्यं सुत सॊमं वृकॊदरात अर्जुनाच छरुत कर्माणं शतानीकं च नाकुलिम ॥ १-२१३-७२ ॥
'From Yudhishthira, she bore a son named Prativindhya; from Bhima, a son named Sutasoma; from Arjuna, a son named Shrutakarma; and from Nakula, a son named Shatanika.' ॥ 1-213-72 ॥

yudhiSThirAta parativindhyaM suta sòmaM vRkòdarAta arjunAca charuta karmANaM zatAnIkaM ca nAkulima ॥ 1-213-72 ॥

'From Sahadeva, she bore a son named Shrutakirti. Thus, Panchali gave birth to these five heroic chariot-warriors, like Aditi giving birth to the Adityas.' ॥ 1-213-73 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptशास्त्रतः परतिविन्ध्यं तम ऊचुर विप्रा युधिष्ठिरम परप्रहरण जञाने परतिविन्ध्यॊ भवत्व अयम ॥ १-२१३-७४ ॥
'The Brahmins, foreseeing the future, told Yudhishthira that since his son would be capable of withstanding enemy weapons like the Vindhya mountains, he should be named Prativindhya.' ॥ 1-213-74 ॥

zAstrataH parativindhyaM tama Ucura viprA yudhiSThirama parapraharaNa jaJAne parativindhyò bhavatva ayama ॥ 1-213-74 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुते सॊमसहस्रे तु सॊमार्क समतेजसम सुत सॊमं महेष्वासं सुषुवे भीमसेनतः ॥ १-२१३-७५ ॥
'The child born to Draupadi and Bhimasena, after Bhima had performed a thousand Soma sacrifices, came to be known as Sutasoma.' ॥ 1-213-75 ॥
